CALIFORNIA DREAMIN' WITH AG

Being born and raised in Cali, I find myself constantly drawn to the feeling of an endless summer and California Dreamin'. Long days at the beach, palm trees, bright sunshine, blue skies and vintage cars... that is what my Cali-cool dreams are made of.

I recently partnered with AG on this look that exemplifies a relaxed, laid-back style, and includes my current denim obsession. The Tellis in 22 Years Melville is pretty much my ideal pair of jeans... soft, distressed, and with a vintage wash that is familiar yet modern at the same time. When paired with The Downey Striped Polo, it's an outfit that's ideal for any lazy day in Cali.

IN LIVING COLOR

It's no secret that I am a fan of sporting big, bold colors, and this fun Valentino shirt from Mr. Porter ticks all the right boxes. A slightly retro cut pairs perfectly with the deconstructed tropical print.

I wore it with a pair of white skinny jeans and bright turquoise driving shoes - this look took me from weekend brunch to some shopping in Venice. Legit!

RECENTLY X MAY-JUNE 2016

Summer is full swing ahead. My favorite time of year (besides the holiday season) is spent in the sun, in the water, and on the sand.

This summer has been an especially busy one - lots of work, projects, activities! I have made it a point to be especially mindful to get some major relaxation and chill time in to offset the business!

SUMMER FRIDAYS

Summer Fridays are in full swing, and this most recent one was extra summer-y.

I spent the afternoon with my amazing mom and grabbed lunch at James Beach, the grilled shrimp tacos and rosé in this beachy setting were heaven. Then we hopped over to the L.A. Louver gallery to see the new David Hockney exhibit, and walked back along the ocean. Dipping our toes in the water is always the best!

Honestly I had no clue that this look resembled Neapolitan ice cream until a friend mentioned it - but it SO does! I love a simple color block moment, and this lightweight sweatshirt from Topman and easy trunks from Venroy Sydney just look so easy together.

RECENTLY X FEB-APRIL 2016

Realized that it's seemingly been an eternity since my latest visual monthly weekend. In between a weekend in Palm Springs and a week in New York, beach days, dinners with my buddies, work, the EPIC Rihanna concert (speaking of "work") and just finding time to unwind and chill - these past few months have been pretty eventful.

I recently spent the weekend housesitting in Venice, and found this 'fit to be perfect for my morning walk to grab coffee at Abbot's Habit and for a bike ride along the coast. So into this lightweight linen baja hoodie paired with my latest obsession: these monogrammed leather slippers from Iovado. Casual cool.

RECENTLY X WINTER 2015

And just like that, it's a new year. Hard to believe that 2015 is now just a memory, however this notion of a fresh start and putting the previous year behind us occurs like clockwork. There are many aspects of 2015 that I am more than ready to close the book on, however there were some very special and unforgettable moments last year as well.

Now before I move full-throttle into 2016, I wanted to provide my usual visual recap of these past few winter months.
