This off-duty look focused on two colors: black and olive green. I decided to throw on a black t-shirt with my new favorite pair of joggers and a pair of espadrilles, and top it all off with a backwards snapback. An easy outfit as autumn here in LA still remains unseasonably warm!

TURQUOISE BLAZER

Took to the streets of Venice last weekend in this look that combined a bunch of my favorite pieces - a backwards snapback, bold blazer, rad tank, comfy sweats and a pair of hi-top Cons.

I hope everyone is having a great week so far! For me, this week consists of a lot of work and will  be capped off with a Dodgers baseball game on Friday night which I am more than excited for. It's been forever since I've gone to a baseball game, and they are so much fun. This one also has a fireworks show!

CERULEAN STYLE

I have always loved that quote of Ice Queen Miranda Priestly in Devil Wears Prada. Actually, I pretty much love every quote from that movie. "Florals. For spring. Grounbreaking." Does it get any better?

When I spotted this crackly alley wall, which I believe is indeed cerulean, I thought it would make for the perfect vibrant backdrop for this laidback weekend 'fit.

BEACH BIKER

Hello! I hope that everyone had a great Labor Day weekend! I spent the long weekend relaxing, brunching, beaching, sleeping, writing, and going to two BBQ's. Pretty much the perfect way to wind down the summer.

While summer is "technically" coming to a close, it doesn't feel that way here in LA... it's been very hot and humid recently. So, today's look reflects these scorching temps.

I've worn this vintage Harley tank before, in a completely different way. Today, it's all about taking it to the beach with a pair of cutoffs and a snapback.

Varsity letters seem to be all the rage right now, and for good reason. The stylish interpretation of an athletic aesthetic seems really fresh and I'm super into it.

I've never been for a ride on a motorcycle before, so I'm not quite sure where my fascination slash obsession with motorcycle jackets and vests comes from. Perhaps it's because my super cool mom was always wearing this badass authentic Harley biker jacket when I was growing up, and she has the best style.

Anyways, this getup makes me want to hop on a bike and go VROOM VROOM!

A SHERPA SITUATION

Today, I decided to wear this really rad vintage Levi's sherpa denim jacket that I scored over the weekend at one of my favorite thrift stores on Fairfax. It's funny, I was just saying the night before how I was on the hunt for a super soft, worn-in denim jacket (and sherpa lining would be a plus!).

It seems that since I put that out there in the universe, the shopping gods decided to be kind. Love it when that happens!

REPPIN' COLLEGE

So I decided to pull this old gym shirt from my alma mater, UCSB, out from the depths of my closet to sport in my latest look.

In short, I had the BEST time in college. From meeting some of the most incredible friends to long days on the beach and even longer nights in the library studying, Santa Barbara proved to be such a special place to enjoy my college years.

I love reppin' my college any chance I get!
