MADISON MENS LAUNCH PARTY

Happy Friday everyone!

Last night I had the privilege of being one of four mens style bloggers to host the launch of the Madison Mens Shop in West Hollywood, which was super exciting. Part of the event included styling a mannequin with pieces from the store. Having worked various styling jobs in the past, it was cool to curate a look from the dope menswear designers that Madison carries.

For the mannequin, I ended up going with:

For my look, I wore:

PRINTED PANTS ARE NOT FOR EVERYONE

Printed pants are not for everyone... but they are for me! I couldn't resist this graphic black & white pair from H&M.

I've been really into simple black & white looks with a twist recently, and so I paired these patterned bad boys with a black sweater and white hi tops.

TOUCHES OF PURPLE

For this look, I started with my LA snapback and decided to incorporate the touch of purple into another aspect of my look. The shade is nearly identical to that of this vintage button up!

NYC SWAG

It feels so good to be back in NYC. The energy, the style, the inspiration and the je ne sais quoi I have missed so since I was last here over the summer! This cool wall of street art photography outside my hotel, the Mondrian in Soho, caught my eye. I am intrigued by the concept of taking graffiti and street art, photographing it, and repurposing it again on the street. Anyways, this look is what I call my "NYC Swag" - can't go wrong with my new camouglage biker jacket and essential leather skinny pants. And let's not forget my black snapback... O B S E S S E D with snapbacks lately!
