BRIGHT TROUSERS

Sometime a burst of brightness is all it takes to push my go-to combo of a black tee and denim jacket to the next sartorial level.

Plus, my embroidered slippers are pretty much guaranteed to make any look that much cooler.

The trousers are from a UK-based menswear brand called Tom Cridland - really rad collection of pants. The fit and colors are on point - and love that this is a small start up. Check out the line and head over to their Kickstarter to learn more if you're keen!

JOGGER CHINOS

This off-duty look focused on two colors: black and olive green. I decided to throw on a black t-shirt with my new favorite pair of joggers and a pair of espadrilles, and top it all off with a backwards snapback. An easy outfit as autumn here in LA still remains unseasonably warm!

It seems to be the general consensus that LA just needs to cool down already. All of my friends and I are so beyond anxious to start wearing sweaters, jackets, scarves... you get the picture. Now if the weather would just cooperate!

In the meantime, throwing a leather jacket over an otherwise summery outfit will have to do.

Also, perhaps you're wondering why this post has been titled "XO." What can I say, that street graffiti caught my eye.
