WEEKEND STORMS

This past weekend was spent dodging the rain and staying cozy in a coat that I can only wear ever so often, when the temps here in LA drop below 60. A rarity.

There's definitely something to be a said for all black everything.

WEEKEND TUXEDO

Over the weekend, I combined three of my favorite things: denim, leather, and a tuxedo jacket for a look that is my weekend take on tuxedo dressing.

I love playing with the dualities between dressy and casual, polished and relaxed. I could kick around in this outfit of leather pants, hi top sneakers, a white tee and a denim shirt tied around my waist during the weekend, and made the whole look a bit more dapper with the tux jacket.

TOUGH CAMO

This is a pretty standard outfit for me, mixing camo pants with black leather and two of my favorite accessories, aviators and a snapback.

I know it's not super summery, but I figured I should start to ease into fall sooner than later! I hope everyone is having a rad week.

CASUAL COMBO

This casual combo is perfect for a warm spring day in LA. Super into the color mix of wine, grey and white. And, as usual, I had to add in a backwards hat and mirrored aviators.

BEST FRIEND SATURDAY

 

Today was a really great day. You want to know why? Because I was able to spend it being silly with my best friend Colton. Between both of our crazy travel and work schedules, I haven't seen him in.... get ready for it... over a MONTH! We're literally like two peas in a pod and balance each other out so well. He's wild and crazy and spontaneous, and I'm a bit more, ahem, of a control freak. But we balance each other out perfectly and I don't know what I'd do without him. 

He snapped these impromptu photos of me on one of our expiditions downtown today. Sundrenched againt this vivid blue wall... Y E S.

LAID BACK LAYERS

Over the weekend, I decided to keep my look casual and laid back by layering several comfy pieces that would be cool to kick around in.

I spent my Saturday morning in Venice with my bud Shaelen. We grabbed a delicious breakfast on Abbot Kinney at 3 Square Cafe, sitting at a little table on the sidewalk, catching up and people watching (naturally). After that, we just cruised around the streets of Venice, making it over to the canals for a leisurely stroll. Love spending a day by the beach... that's the Venice local in me!
