LAID BACK LAYERS

Over the weekend, I decided to keep my look casual and laid back by layering several comfy pieces that would be cool to kick around in.

I spent my Saturday morning in Venice with my bud Shaelen. We grabbed a delicious breakfast on Abbot Kinney at 3 Square Cafe, sitting at a little table on the sidewalk, catching up and people watching (naturally). After that, we just cruised around the streets of Venice, making it over to the canals for a leisurely stroll. Love spending a day by the beach... that's the Venice local in me!

A SHERPA SITUATION

Today, I decided to wear this really rad vintage Levi's sherpa denim jacket that I scored over the weekend at one of my favorite thrift stores on Fairfax. It's funny, I was just saying the night before how I was on the hunt for a super soft, worn-in denim jacket (and sherpa lining would be a plus!).

It seems that since I put that out there in the universe, the shopping gods decided to be kind. Love it when that happens!

The minute I saw this tongue-in-cheek t-shirt I knew I had to nab it! I love the play on the Hermes logo, and I always love a good H O M I E S reference!
