ZACK X MIAMI SWIM WEEK 2015

This year's trip to Miami for Swim Week was, in a word, hot. And not just temperature wise. Don't get me wrong, the Miami climate was expectedly soupy, which truth be told did wonderful things for my complexion. Miami Swim Week sizzled this year thanks to nonstop runway shows, after parties, and celebrations that may or may not have included drinking lots of tequila at a club that doubled as a late-night taco shop.

No matter how hectic this wild weekend of babes in bikinis got, I found refuge on the sand and in the ocean. When all was said and done, the final moments of the weekend on the beach with friends was what I'll take away from this scorcher of a trip.

BEACH DAZE

This weekend has left me feeling refreshed - and very tan. I had a little staycation of sorts, housesitting for my parents in Venice.

Walks on Abbot Kinney, early morning coffee, sunset on the deck, and most of all - beach daze. Sundrenched, bodysurfing in the waves, mirrored lenses and listening to my favorite tunes. Can't beat it on these lazy summer days.

INSPIRATION // 7.2.14

This latest round of inspiration appears in the form of aqua and seafoam soaked paint brushes, bad gal RiRi in gold and leopard (side note, can she get back on Instagram ALREADY?), acid yellow pencils, this editorial shot of MK&A that still haunts me years after it's original release, the undulating ocean, wolves, faces and pouting lips on Xerox machines, diamond geometry, men with Hermes and of course the good old crazy days of Paris and Brit Brit. Random, but I'm feeling it all.
