CHRISTMAS IS NEAR

Can you believe that Christmas is in a mere two days? I know I've said this before, but this year has seriously flown by.

This is however one of my favorite times of the year, as I am a pretty sentimental person. I love the traditions that come every winter. From cozy dinners with family to decorating my Christmas tree with my best friend, to even the frenetic holiday shopping (which I always seem to do at the last minute each year).

Today, I kept it cozy and casual in a winter white vintage sweater with worn-in denim and statement slippers.

CAMO AND DENIM

I'm trying to think of the last time I wore a jacket and jeans... yeah, I've got nothing. It's finally getting cool enough to move out of shorts and tees and get into some outerwear and pants - YES!

Plus, with a trip to NYC next week, I'll definitely be sharing some cold-weather looks. Baby, I'm glad it's finally starting to get cold outside!

STRIPES ON STRIPES

There's nothing quite like serving up a bit of classic Americana style while standing in front of a patriotic flag, is there? This 'fit is making me super ready for the 4th of July!

This hidden gem of a photo-worthy backdrop is nestled away in an alley in Venice, and to do it right I thought to myself, why not bring out the stripes in full force? A casual red and black striped tee pairs nicely with skinny denim and a jean jacket tied around my waist. Let's not forget the striped Soludos!
