DESERT HEAT

Recently, I made my way out to the desert for a weekend of R&R in Palm Springs. Lots of lazy moments by the pool, towering palms, and a mindset where everything just slows down so I can enjoy a few fleeting moments of tranquility and peace.

As you can tell from this gallery of images, my recent trip to MAUI really was majorly WOWIE.

It was a quick trip, but nonetheless filled with a best friend's wedding, scorching sun, freezing drinks, late nights, old friends, towering palms, white sands, green waters, insane clouds, warm breezes, sandy hair, mirrored shades, ocean swims, catching waves and just enjoying some much deserved time off.

Nice to disconnect every once in a while, right?

I wore this outfit yesterday, which was ideal for the 80 degree weather we've been having here in LA lately.

OUT IN MALIBU AT NOBU

If ever there was a sweatshirt made for me, this was it.

OUT IN MALIBU AT NOBU.

Everything about this message is just on point. This is pretty much where I'd rather be at any given moment, listening to the Drake song and eating sashimi overlooking the ocean.

Not to mention, being out in Malibu at Nobu brings back memories of one of my all-time favorite nights, a birthday dinner that my best friend threw me a couple years back. Basically, just YES.
